Presentation of the Letters of Credence of the new Apostolic Nuncio in Ukraine, H. E. the Most. Rev. Visvaldas Kulbokas

The President of Ukraine, H. E. Mr Volodymyr Zelenskyy, received on 1 October 2021 H. E. the Most Rev. Visvaldas Kulbokas, for the presentation of his Letters of Credence.

In the conversation with the Apostolic Nuncio, the Head of State underlined the value of bilateral dialogue with the Holy See, that is presently strengthening and deepening. The President of Ukraine expressed his gratitude to the Holy Father for his continuing support to the Country, and for his attention to the situation of the temporarily occupied territories.

In his turn, the Apostolic Nuncio thanked the President for the recent evacuation from Afghanistan of 18 students and their family members.
