Cardinal Matteo Zuppi participates in Ukrainian Statehood Day events and holds a series of official meetings in Kyiv
Cardinal Matteo Zuppi, the Special Envoy of Pope Leo XIV for Ukraine, took part in the joint flower-laying ceremony at the Wall of Remembrance honoring those who gave their lives for Ukraine, together with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy and other distinguished guests.
During his visit to Ukraine, Cardinal Matteo Zuppi also met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andrii Sybiha, and held a number of other working meetings with representatives of the Ukrainian state authorities.
