In frontline Zaporizhzhia, the Easter Triduum took place with the participation of the Apostolic Nuncio

A solemn celebration of the Triduum was held in Zaporizhzhia with the participation of the Apostolic Nuncio to Ukraine, Visvaldas Kulbokas. The event gathered numerous faithful and clergy from various Christian Churches, becoming an important spiritual sign of unity and support for the region, which is located near the front line.

In his homily during the Easter Vigil, the Apostolic Nuncio emphasized:
“Through His Resurrection, Christ has given us a path to Him through Baptism, in which we receive new life. Thanks to the victory of Jesus Christ over death, we can rejoice and say that we hold the keys to Heaven. And this becomes our victory and our resurrection.”

The visit of the Apostolic Nuncio to frontline cities in Ukraine carries special significance. Previously, the Archbishop repeatedly stressed that he seeks to be close to people who suffer most from the war, in order to share prayer and support with them.

The Triduum in Zaporizhzhia became not only a liturgical event but also an important sign of spiritual solidarity, uniting the faithful in hope for peace and for life’s victory over the darkness of war.
