Pope Leo XIV held a telephone conversation with the President of Ukraine.
According to the press office of the Holy See, the conversation concerned humanitarian assistance to the population suffering from the consequences of the war, the release of prisoners, and efforts involving the international community to achieve a cessation of hostilities and the establishment of a just and lasting peace.
