On February 24, at the Orthodox Cathedral of the Transfiguration in Kyiv, the Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Visvaldas Kulbokas, participated in the state-confessional event “Prayer for the Healthcare Sector.”

The event was held as part of the celebration of the National Day of Prayer, established by the resolution of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on February 12, 2025, No. 4243-IX, which emphasizes the importance of spiritual and psychological support for medical professionals in their service to public health.

The event was attended by representatives of the clergy and leadership of the medical sector, military medicine, civil society organizations, as well as heads and chaplains of healthcare institutions.
